About Me

My name is Jessica, but most people call me Jess.

My husband Mark and I will be married for 30 years this December and we have two children.

My firstborn is a sweet, hardworking young man, named Taylor. From an early age, he kept us on our toes, but has matured into a wonderful man. His smile and willingness to help others makes me a proud mom.

Our youngest is a girl named Aubrey. She was the sweetest little thing…then she grew up. She is sassy and determined much like her mother. At the young age of 20 she became a deputy sheriff and purchased her own home. Her tenacity and go-getter attitude serve her well in her new occupation.

Now that I’m done raising these kids (are you ever done?), it is time for a new adventure and chapter in my life. This new adventure is Jessie D’s Crafty Things.

I started paper crafting some 20 years ago with the company Stampin Up! It was a hobby that brought joy to me when I was home raising my children. I became a demonstrator for a few years, then life became very busy when we made the choice to homeschool; redirecting my focus solely on my family. I still loved and continued creating beautiful cards and party supplies for family and friends. Some of these friends encouraged me to start an Etsy shop in 2014. That is where Jessie D’s Crafty Things was born.

Creating beautiful cards and party supplies and seeing the joy that it brings to others is one of the most gratifying experiences for me.

I want to continue to bring joy through my paper crafting. So….New things are coming for Jessie D’s Crafty Things.
